The SMT-4002 General Purpose Pad Maroon is perfect for scuffing surfaces before painting and applying primer surfacers. These maroon pads are made of nylon web. These general purpose pads will not rust like steel wool, and last longer. The reusable pads are designed to resist tears, splinters, and shredding.

These super-efficient hand pads are extremely flexible and can be folded, stacked, or even rolled for working on flat, uneven, or contoured surfaces. They offer effective cutting action and precise hand control, allowing you to complete extremely difficult cleaning jobs effectively and consistently. The superfine aluminum oxide abrasives in the pads help cut fast and fine on varied surfaces to provide a smooth finish.

The pads can be used on different types of surfaces like wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, glass, and composites and replace products made of wire brushes and sandpaper.

It shall be the responsibility of the person or entity ordering, to request shipping protection insurance through the carrier and must be requested & added before shipping. If requested, carrier insurance will be added to the shipping cost at the current carrier rate.

All orders containing HAZMAT items will be shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. (HAZMAT items are paint, aerosols, any chemicals in liquid or paste or powder form.) A $ 10.00 fee may be added to any order requiring a certification. Thank you.
